The short story I drafted at a workshop you held 18 months ago in Orangeville was just published in Room Magazine. Thanks for the inspiration!
For information about submitting to Room magazine, see here.
Great news! I won a mentorship place offered by Diaspora Dialogues with my piece "School of Good Manners." It will also be published in TOK and I'll give a reading at the Diaspora Dialogues festival.
Thank you for your continuous support. Your words in our first classes – "She must be encouraged" – gave me hope that I can write, even though I was using my awkward ESL.
Diaspora Dialogues is looking for short fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction. Selected authors will receive mentoring and your piece may appear in TOK 7. See here.
