Literary journals seek fiction, poetry & more; Only Interconnect seeks social media inspired pieces for anthology


New literary magazine Joypuke (Mount Allison University, New Brunswick) seeks fiction and creative nonfiction (1,500 words max.) and poetry (100 lines max.) Deadline: April 20, 2013. Send submissions to:underbridge@mta.ca.


Only Interconnect, an anthology exploring the intersection between social media and short stories, seeks writing whose content and/or form are inspired by social media. Send your tales told through texting, Pinterest prose, irony over Instagram, or Facebook flash fiction. Deadline:April 30, 2013 (extended). Guidelines here


The Annual Ascent Aspirations Print Anthology Contest
You can enter short poems (maximum of 30 lines, including spaces) or flash fiction (maximum or 600 words).  Deadline April 30, 2012. See details here.
