The Booker Albert Literary Agency was founded by Jordy Albert and Brittany Booker Carter. Previously, they both worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the L. Perkins Agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency. They describe themselves as a hands-on agency that provides editorial and marketing guidance and strongly believes in taking on clients for their whole career. Both Jordy and Brittany are looking for clients.

Before founding her own agency, Brittany Booker Carter has a BA in English and a minor in journalism from The University of Arkansas at Monticello. She has working knowledge of Japanese and Spanish.

Brittany is looking for novels that keep her up at  night and transport her into the pages. In young adult and new adult she is looking for well-written contemporary romances, fantasy romances and sci-fi romances. As for adult works, she's looking for contemporary romances and romantic thrillers. Brittany is also now considering middle grade and erotica.

Brittany is always on the hunt for rich characters and unique plots. She’s especially interested in new adult that has lots of sexual tension, sexual chemistry or has a demanding hero who will make the reader swoon. She is a big sucker for happy endings. (She doesn't represent books without a happily-ever-after; they make her sad. She also has a passion for books set in the south.

Brittany is not looking for memoirs or paranormal works at the moment.

Jordy Albert holds a B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A. from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.

Jordy is seeking:
Fun, witty Middle Grade novels, contemporary or action/adventure (think awesome 80s movies)
Young Adult contemporary romance. Sci-fi, fantasy – must have romance!
Smart, sexy contemporary romance with fantastic chemistry between the characters that sparks off the pages. Historical romance (she definitely has a soft spot for a fantastic Regency).

Like Brittany, Jordy is a sucker for a happily ever after. (Please
, no sad endings!)  She’s always looking for strong, intelligent characters (snarky, but still likable). And while it isn’t necessarily a deal breaker, she tends to shy away from novels with trigger topics, such as suicide and any type of abuse.

She is currently closed to picture books.

Paste the first ten pages of your manuscript into your email. No attachments. In the subject line, include “Query,” the name of the agent you are querying, and the title of your manuscript

The agency, also has two other agents, Jen Hunt and Steve Mancino, but they’re currently closed to submissions. Full submission guidelines here.
