Congratulations to Michelle and Liz on getting published and to Barbara on being a finalist for the NCR Short Story Contest, plus ride share wanted

Hi, Brian.
I wanted to say thank you again for another incredibly valuable and extremely enjoyable workshop!
I also wanted to let you know that an essay that I wrote about being Canadian as Canada's 150th approaches will be published in the Globe and Mail Facts and Arguments section leading up to July 1st! I'm thrilled!
Thank you so much for your encouragement and for sharing your knowledge!
See you in a few weeks,
Michelle Dinnick-Schulze

Hi, Brian.
What a wonderful email to receive on a snowy day in Calgary. A notification from the National Capital Region Writing Contest that my short story, “Unexpected,” is a finalist.

Hey Brian
Just wanted to let you know that my piece “Traffic” made the Feminine Collective newsletter. How cool is that?

Wanted: Ride share to the Algonquin in June Writing Retreat
Hi,
I want to go to the retreat, but don’t drive. If anyone’s going from somewhere in the London area, I’d love to go with you. I’ll split the gas money, of course, and provide good company on the way up and back.
You haven’t heard about the retreat? Check out the details here.
If you can help, please contact me at: pat.mysterywriter@gmail.com
I’d really appreciate it.
Yours,
Patricia (Pat) Brown
