Emma Sweeney Agency is a small literary agency based in New York City. It handles general fiction, historical fiction and narrative nonfiction, including memoir, history, science and religion. Principal agent Emma Sweeney is also an author, whose books include Tuplipa (Artisan, 2000) and As Always, Jack (Little, Brown, 2002; Back Bay Books, 2003).

Justine Wenger is a new junior agent with the Emma Sweeney Agency. Justine graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing. Note: New agents are always in need of authors.

Justine is seeking literary fiction, short story collections, and food-related non-fiction. “I'm looking for stories that are well-written with surprising, yet simple craft and driving characters,” she says. "I am also a fiction and poetry reader for BOMB Magazine and OPEN CITY, which is a good example for the style of fiction I would like to acquire."
