May 13, 2016, update:
Holly Lorizncz is no longer agenting. We wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors. ~ Brian

At MacGregor Literary, Holly Lorincz has been promoted to agent. She will focus on representing contemporary and historical romance, political or conspiracy thrillers, women’s fiction, literary fiction, and both literary and classic westerns.

Holly has a degree in Journalism as well as a MAT focused in writing and literature. She was the editor of the literary magazine Perceptions and then became a high school and college instructor for fifteen years.

After an extended illness, Holly has redefined herself, now living the dream of every college graduate with an English degree: she’s published a novel and is a full time MacGregor Literary agent, mentored by the well-known Chip MacGregor.

Residing on the Oregon coast with her son, Holly works out of the MacGregor Literary office one block from the Pacific, huddled next to the heater and coffee pot. She is well aware of the shifting role of a literary agent. While seeking traditional publishers for her authors, she also closely works with clients on alternative publishing options, career development, marketing plans, and media training.

Query Holly at:  Don't query her; she's not agenting anymore. - Brian
Include the genre in the subject line. Note: Other agents at MacGregor are not open to queries, except by invitation, but Holly is.

Thank you, Brian, for posting my bio here. I appreciate the spotlight. I would, however, caution authors seeking my attention to be patient after they email me queries; I am receiving over a hundred queries a day. I am trying my absolute hardest to get back to everyone but it's going to be weeks before I can work my way down the list.
– Holly Lorincz

  1. How does one query Ms. Lorincz? There's no contact information for her and her Agency's website states that they don't want unsolicited queries.

  2. Sorry, West Coast, forgot to add that line. Thanks for bringing it to my attention: Query Holly at: holly@macgregorliterary.com
Include the genre in the subject line. And, yes, she is accepting queries from new authors, though others at the agency are not.
