Tarnished Trophies by Debbie Okun Hill

Brian:
Lots of exciting news! Tarnished Trophies, my sports-themed poetry collection has just been published by nationally renowned literary publisher Black Moss Press.

The League of Canadian Poets has also just accepted me as a full member and I still need to wait one more month to hear whether I will be accepted as a member of the Writers’ Union of Canada. My book tour has started and I’m now blogging about my literary journey here.

In 2004, I attended your “How to Get Published’ workshop where you told the audience that a writer required two out of three factors (luck, persistence and talent) before he/she would be published. I almost gave up several times. I’m so glad I didn’t.

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.
