Love Letters ~ Where your fellow writers are getting published

Hi, Brian.
When I began writing three years ago, your "Secrets to Writing a Page-turner" and "How to Write Great Dialogue" were two of the first workshops I took. Now my book Perfectly Honest has been published by Soul Mate Publishing! Seeing it climb on Amazon is very exciting. Your tips were very practical and easy to incorporate into my writing - thank you very much!

You can buy Peferctly Honest in Kindle edition for $2.99 here.
Note: I’ll be leading “Secrets of Writing a Page-turner” workshops in Peterborough on April 11 (see here) and in Barrie on May 23 (see here). – Brian

Yay, Dianne!
Hello, Brian.
Thank you for another engaging seminar this past month. "How to Write a Bestseller" was chock-full of sound advice. It was energizing to be in a room full of writers honing their craft, and awesome to have Kelley Armstrong as the guest speaker.
And thank you for your advice regarding my middle-grade story. I’m pleased to say it will be published soon by MuseItUp Publishing, based in Montreal. They will also be publishing my young adult science-fiction novel, one that just wasn’t working until I took your “Writing for Children and Young Adults” seminar. I was meaning to fine-tune that middle-grade story, and came out of your course realizing that the other story's point-of-view needed to be changed – and now the novel works!
You were instrumental in making both of these books work, so thanks again. See you next time!

Note: On Saturday, May 2, I’ll be leading a “Writing for Children and Young Adults” workshop with Anne Shone, Senior Editor of Scholastic Books, in Oakville. Details here.
And on Saturday, June 13, I’ll be leading “How to Write a Bestseller,” with bestselling author Kelley Armstrong, in Toronto. Details here.

Brian,
So pleased to announce my science fiction short story, "Downtime" has been published in the Fall 2014 issue of On Spec (released January 2015).

Hi, Brian.
I have just received notification from Red Tuque Books in Penticton, B.C. that two of my entries in this year's contest have been accepted for publication this spring. They may not make the top three, but I still receive a cheque for each one, even as an Honorable Mention.
Michael Joll
Note: Several writers I know have gotten a piece published with Red Tuque. Submission info here.
