One of the stories I wrote in your Welcome to Creative Writing class this summer has been published on Commuterlit. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your feedback on the story and for all of your helpful classes and workshops. This is the first time one of my short stories has been published anywhere, ever! (Obviously, I'm quite excited about it!).

I was wondering if any of your students might be interested in becoming a Beta Reader for a completed thriller novel that is comprised of 84,000 words.  I have also put this on the Ryerson Career website.

I have pasted my query letter to give you an idea of my story.

Laura Amour is a psychiatrist and a leading Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) counselor for first responders.  What her clients don’t know is that she also hunts and kills pedophiles.

Laura is all too familiar with the damage sexual of abuse has on its victims, and the nightmares which haunt their families and even the officers who have to investigate these crimes. Using skills learned from the emergency workers that she helps, like long range shooting and fire chemistry, Laura has started a crusade to draw attention to the issue.  Now that her crusade has come to the police’s attention, Laura knows she only has a limited window to escape the country.  But there is one last monster to kill and he is being guarded by an elite team of police.

 Now Laura has to decide: flee or die trying.
