The Robert Lecker Agency has only one agent, Robert Lecker, plus a rights manager, Alison Hardacre. Robert Lecker founded his agency in 2003, following 25 years of experience as cofounder and copublisher of ECW Press. 

Robert has developed special expertise in the fields of popular culture, music, entertainment, finance, food culture, and science. His background in literary studies also makes him particularly effective in representing fiction and in working with authors who have an academic profile.

Robert specializes in books about entertainment, music, popular culture, popular science, intellectual and cultural history, food, and travel. However, he’s open to any idea that is original and well presented. He’s also receptive to books written by academics that can attract a broad range of readers. 

He does not represent children's literature, screenplays, poetry, self-help books, or spiritual guides.
