Love letters ~ Where your fellow writers are getting published, plus Beta Readers Wanted

Hello, Brian.
My latest YA novel, Hope's Journey, has just been named a "Best Book of Kids & Teens" by the Canadian Children's Book Centre.
And the Hamilton Public Library Book Club has my short story collection, Scattered Light, on their reading list for 2016 – 17.
All the best,
Jean Rae Baxter
Note: Hope's Journey is available through Ronsdale Press here, and Scattered Light is available from Seraphim Editions here

Hi, Brian.
Wouldn't miss Quick Brown Fox for all the journals looking for submissions.
You asked about where people are getting published…. I just heard from Alanna Rusnak, editor of the new Blank Spaces literary magazine which you featured recently and she has accepted two pieces of mine, a book review of Moonlight Over Paris and my poem, Attenti Ai Gatti
I have a piece coming out in More of Our Canada, July 2016 issue called Summer at the Sandbanks.
And I’ve won third prize in the James McIntyre poetry contest!
Thanks again for writers helping writers.

Hi, Brian.
I just wanted to let you know that a story I started in your workshop as the “fortune cookie” exercise is going to be up on Near to the Knuckle soon (it's my second story going to them) and I have a few more going up on Yellow Mama starting this summer (I'll send links when they're up).
Thanks again for all your advice & see you at the next workshop!

Hi, Brian.
For information on submitting
to CommuterLit, see
here.
You said you liked to hear when your students were getting published. Well, it ain't much, but... My little spider story, the one you edited after the Guelph workshop, the day of the big 401 accident, is on CommuterLit.com.
Thanks for your help!

Writer to Writer
Hi,
Looking for beta readers to review an upmarket romantic suspense novel, with time travel into historical era.  I have attended several of Brian Henry's classes and workshops and would willing reciprocate the favour.

Hi,
My co-author Manuel Palomo and I have completed our manuscript, and we’re looking for beta readers. Titled "Class Action," the manuscript has been professionally edited and corrected, and a literary agent has expressed interest in receiving the finished manuscript.
Before we send it to the agent we wish to have the manuscript read by one or more beta readers ... serious writers and readers who are not known to the authors. We want to get a reaction from beta readers about the impact and readability of the book.
We will be happy provide a similar beta reading service to our beta readers.
If you’re interested, please email me at: tedentrp1@gmail.com
Regards,
Ted Wolfe
