Love Letters ~ Where your fellow writers are getting published

Hey, Brian.
I mentioned two of my stories did well in a contest – I'm reading both stories at the Eden MillsWriters Festival (both were chosen in the Fringe contest, blind manuscript judging). I'll see if I can grab a chapbook for you :-)
Thanks for everything and I'll see you at your next Midland workshop for sure,
Angela

Hi, Brian.
I have some fun news. Won first place in the literary competition in the Cambridge Mayor’s Festival of the Arts for three of my short stories. My son, Adam, also won a place, and we read our stories at city hall on June 17. It is very cool that we were both selected.

Hi, Brian.
Some good news I’d like you to share with your readers on your blog. Emma’s Call topped the short list for Canada’s Word Alive Press’s summer contest.
“Emma Taylor, an educated and experienced evangelist in the early 1900s, leaves ministry behind in 1935 to fall into step as a pastor’s wife. However, God’s call cannot be set aside so easily and she finds her way in spite of cultural and traditional understandings."
Author of the Agnes Macphail series (Brucedale); A Rare Find  (Castle Quay)
Hope to get to a fall worship.
