D4EO Literary has four agents on staff, two of whom are actively looking for new authors:

Quressa Robinson recently joined D4EO as an Associate Agent, and like all new agents, she needs authors.

Formerly Quressa was an acquiring editor for St. Martin’s Press, an imprint of Macmillan Publishers where she edited both fiction and nonfiction. Her acquisitions include Certain Dark Things and The Beautiful Ones – both by Silvia Moreno-Garcia; Spells of the Blood and Kin by Claire Humphrey; and The Atlas of Forgotten Places by Jenny D. Williams.  Quressa is an alumnus of the University of California Santa Cruz, Columbia University’s MFA program, and House Slytherin. (There is power in the dark side.)

“My tastes are a bit eclectic,” says Quressa, “but I am most drawn to literary voices in commercial packages and wonderfully, realized characters, untold stories, immersive world building, and complex narrative approaches or plots.”

Quressa  is seeking:

Science-fiction/Fantasy (including speculative/magical realism)
Nonfiction (celebrity, pop culture, pop science)
Upmarket and Commercial Women’s Fiction
Historical Fiction
Family Sagas
Contemporary YA
Science-fiction/Fantasy Young Adult Crossover
She is particularly interested in “Own Voices” and Inclusive Narratives. Genre bending is also great; for example, an epic fantasy romance or an upmarket fantasy

Pam Howell started her literary career as an assistant to an agent in early 2012. By April Pam was promoted to Associate Agent. In her first two years as an agent, Pam brokered 24 deals, with such publishers as Knopf, Scholastic, NAL, ACE, Grand Central, and others. 

She joined D4EO in June 2014, where she continues to build her list. She has a passion for genre fiction as well as children's lit, including Picture Books, Chapter Books, Middle Grade and Young Adult.
