Congratulations to Ellen, who's giving a reading and to Liz, Gwen, and Monica on getting published!

If you’ve had a story (or a book!) published, if you’ve won or placed in a writing contest, if you’ve gotten yourself an agent, or if you have any other news, send me an email so I can share your success. And be sure to let know if you're looking for a writers' group or beta readers; a notice in Quick Brown Fox, will help you find them.

Hi, Brian,
Yay, Ellen!
I'm so honoured that a Toronto Public Library librarian, at the Annette Street Branch, has invited me to join the programme of public readings there on February 25. I'm planning to read, together with her, a scene from the stage play I worked on during your fall Intensive class in Toronto.
Here are the details:

Hi, Brian.
I'm pleased to say that my latest book of haiku and senryu poetry, How Soon the Colour Fades, published by CyberWi.net, is now available.
This description is from the CyberWit website: The poet's sense of music is quite attractive in the words and phrases used in these haiku. All these haiku reveal the concrete and artistic expression of the poet's various moods and thoughts in emotional and rhythmic language.
Thanks so much, Brian.

CyberWit has published Liz’s last two poetry chapbooks. They’re available here.
Amazon has six of Liz’s books here.
Note: CyberWit is looking for poetry and artwork for the next issue of Harvests of New Millennium. Deadline March 25, 2020. Details here. They’re also seeking poems, literary articles essays, short stories, etc for their next issue of Taj Mahal Review. Deadline May 25, 2020. Details here.

Hi, Brian!
I have a short, nonfiction piece “Ellipsis” in the anthology,  Aubade: Poetry and Prose from Nova Scotia Writers, recently published by Boularderie Island Press. I usually write fiction – this is my first published piece of creative nonfiction. I wrote it while during an unexpected winter retreat in Reykjavik, Iceland (amazing place).
I'm sending you this notice as an east coast follower of your useful and interesting website, during a lovely snow storm. Thank you for the opportunity.
BTW, this little anthology reads like a who's who of Nova Scotia writers.
All the best!
Gwen Davies
Aubade is available from Boularderie Island Press here.

Yay, Monica. Bravest of the brave.
Hi, Brian.
Just wanted to let you know that for the third time, I'm being published in the Globe and Mail. The piece I shared with my small group will be published on January 29th . Online, it will appear on the 28th.
Thank you for creating such a safe and supportive environment to share my musings!
Many blessings,
Monica
