Congratulations to Colette, Emily, Suzanne, and Claudette! Also, book reviewer wanted!

If you’ve had a story (or a book!) published, if you’ve won or placed in a writing contest, if you’ve gotten yourself an agent, or if you have any other news, send me an email so I can share your success. And be sure to let know if you're looking for a writers' group or beta readers; a notice in Quick Brown Fox, will help you find them.

Hi, Brian.

Just wanted to let you know that the piece I recently workshopped with the Wednesday morning group has been accepted for publication in Mystic Publishers’ upcoming Christmas anthology.

Thanks to you and everyone for their helpful critiques!

See you in a class soon,

Hi, Brian.

OMG first time in real magazine – "The Sparrow's Song" in Broadview. Thanks for your past inspiration, dear mentor

Suzanne Burchell

Hi, Brian.

Got published by The Archive!

I really enjoyed doing research for this piece. I hope you enjoy it and learn something new!

Hi, Brian.

I'm a retired dancer and my book, Kiki MacAdoo and the Graveyard Ballerinas, published by Owl Hollow Press, is out now. It’s a spooky middle grade contemporary fantasy based on the ballet Giselle.

“Spooky and sweet and fantastically fun, Kiki dances onto the page, delightfully entertaining until her last chapter bow.” ~Heather Kassner, author of The Bone Garden

Thanks so much!

Colette Sewall

Kiki MacAdoo is available through Amazon here.

Writer to Writer

Hi, all.

I’ve been offered a copy of  Remembering Shanghai: A Memoir of Socialites, Scholars and Scoundrels for review. It’s an independently published book, but looks very professional and very interesting. Anyone interested in reviewing it for Quick Brown Fox?

“The book is filled with true stories of glamour, drama and tragedy told through five generations of the author’s Shanghai family, from the last days of imperial rule to the Cultural Revolution.”

If you’re interested in reviewing it, please let me know ASAP. I’d want the review in time for the late autumn festival at the end of September.  Email me at brain.henry123@gmail.com
