Readers wanted for an evening of prose and poetry at CJ’s Cafe in Bronte

Tuesday, September 13

Reading your work aloud to an audience is one of the greatest experiences of a writer’s life. Come and give it a shot! Spots on the reading list are open to anyone who has ever published a piece on Quick Brown Fox (or you have a piece in the queue waiting for publication) or who’s taken any of my “Intensive,” "Intermediate,” “Extreme” or “Advanced” creative writing courses.

    This sounds awesome! I grew up in Mississauga, and will be in that general area until the 14th. I was looking up writing events there, and this is one of the first ones I found- are non-members welcome to attend, even if we can't read anything ourselves?

    I see that you're giving a workshop in South Carolina, too- do you often travel to other places for seminars? If you ever make it out to the Maritimes, then sign me up- Moncton would love to have you. :)

    You're very welcome to attend the reading night!
    And I'd love to come to Moncton again. I was there leading a workshop at the Frye Festival in 2010 and then returned that summer to lead a couple of seminars for the NB Writers' Federation.
