The Jennifer Lyons agency has four agents, all of them looking for new authors:

Jessica Felleman began her publishing career in Los Angeles after receiving her MFA in writing from CalArts. She relocated to New York in 2015, where she spent five years at a mid-sized agency before joining the Jennifer Lyons Literary Agency.

Jennifer is seeking literary and upmarket commercial fiction; crime fiction and suspense, fiction that balances on the edge of genre, and some selective science fiction / fantasy, and YA. She loves fresh stories about magic, and looks for underserved voices, unforgettable places, and complicated families.

In nonfiction, Jessica specializes in prescriptive titles that offer realistic advice or new perspectives to help readers better understand themselves and the world, including the #1 New York Times Bestseller THE HIDDEN POWER OF F*CKING UP by The Try Guys. She’s also looking for humour, cookbooks, and narrative nonfiction about science or history that resonates with current conversations.

Jeff Ourvan, an attorney, published author and writing instructor, is a literary agent with the Jennifer Lyons Literary Agency. Jeff heads the Agency’s book-to-film efforts. His most recently authored work is THE STAR-SPANGLED BUDDHIST (Skyhorse).

In nonfiction, he’s especially interested in narrative nonfiction, histories, biographies, international current events, finance, science, food and sports.

In fiction, he’s looking for young adult and middle grade novels, mysteries, sci-fi and thrillers.

She has worked with winners of the Stella Prize, and the Morton Dauwen Zabel, PEN/New England, PEN/West, and Ippy awards.

In fiction, Pamela is seeking literary and upmarket commercial fiction, crime novels, and suspense, particularly novels that examine moral problems, family dynamics and human behaviour.
