Note: If
you’ve had a story (or a book!) published, if
you’ve won or placed in a writing contest, if you’ve gotten yourself an agent,
or if you have any other news, send me an email so I can share your success. As
writers, we’re all in this together, and your good news gives us all a
boost.
Also, be sure to let know
if you're looking for a writers' group or beta readers; a notice in Quick Brown
Fox, will help you find them.

Hi,
Brian.
My story, “Fly Past the Sun,” which was
workshopped in one of your classes was published on the Killer Nashville
website (here)!
And another
of my stories, “Duck Duck Duck,” has gone live (here) on Amazing Stories.
Thanks for your support!

Brian,
Thrilled to report that my
memoir, From Saginaw to Srinagar, is published:
It’s the story of my
8-month solo backpack adventure through southeast Asia and India when I was in
my mid-20s, back in the late 70s. It was a transformative travel experience
that changed my life in many wonderful ways.
Srinagar (in Kashmir,
northern India) was the last place on my journey – and a favorite place … and I
am returning to Srinagar (flying to India tomorrow!) after 46 years!
(I wonder if it will have changed? I certainly have!)
Namaste,

Brian,
I attended a number of
your workshops in Kingston perhaps 20 years ago and finished a novel, which you
edited.
But I found my writer's
voice writing a self-deprecating, humorous travel blog about my trips to Las
Vegas, work life, and other things. So far I've made 1,591 posts and have
amassed 3,379,617 page views. I have a small but loyal following.
Just thought you would
like to know that the small seeds you help plant grow life-changing trees.

Hi,
Brian.
I'm so happy to share my
new chapter book, Katie Crumble and the
Case of the Missing Underwear, has
been published by Plumleaf Press, with illustrations by Lydia Ramsey. I got the
idea for this book and started writing it during one of your classes and was
encouraged by your words that this story had promise! I stuck with it and here
it is!
Katie
Crumble and the Case of the Missing Underwear can be ordered from
Plumleaf Press here.
Thanks so much.
All the best,
Oksanna
