Coastal West Publishing seeks books about crime & justice

Coastal West Publishing
324 – 1755 Robson Street
Vancouver, B.C.  V6G 3B7

Coastal West Publishing (Canada) is a new, niche publisher seeking nonfiction submissions related to the justice system.  Their goal is to both educate and entertain readers with stories that have an emphasis in and around the justice system and all of its participants. Manuscripts should not glorify crime or criminal activities. Rather the publisher’s goal is to “teach, inspire in positive ways and provide hope and change to the readers.”

Your manuscript should fall into one of the following categories:
·         Organized Crime
·         Law and Policing
·         The Criminal Court System
·         The prison System
      The Parole System
·         Youth Gangs
·         Testimonials of change in any of these systems

Submit your manuscript to: Submissions@coastalwest.ca

Brian Henry will lead a "How to Get Published" workshop on Saturday, October 13, in Toronto with Monica Pacheco of The Anne McDermid literary agency (see here).
