“Intensive Creative Writing”
~ An adventure in creative growth ~

The summer sessions (Tuesday afternoons in Burlington and Thursday evening in Mississauga, starting the last week of June) are fully subscribed, but there's a good chance a spot will open up in the Mississauga class. To get on the waiting list for either, email

Fall session: September 18 – December 4
First readings emailed Sept 11

Offered in two locales:
Wednesday afternoons, 12:15 – 2:45
Appleby United Church
4407 Spruce Ave, Burlington (Map here)
Wednesday evenings, 6:45 – 9:00 p.m.
Sheridan United Church, 2501 Truscott Drive, Mississauga (Map here.)

This course is for people who are working on their own writing. Every other week, you’ll be asked to submit a piece of your writing for detailed feedback. All your pieces may be from the same work, such as a novel in progress, or they may be stand alone pieces. You bring whatever you want to work on. Besides critiquing pieces, the instructor will give short lectures at the start of class, addressing the needs of the group.  This is a challenging course, but extremely rewarding.

Fee: $181.42 plus 13% hst = $205
