Congratulations to your fellow writers for winning a contest, getting published, launching a business, and getting signed with an agent!

Hi, Brian.
I’m thrilled to tell you that a story I wrote in your creative writing class has won first place in the Screamin Mamas Valentine’s Day contest. “You Can’t Keep a Good Many Down” will be published in their magazine in February 2017.
Thanks for all your help and support.
From one screamin mama,
Sharlene (Arnold) Walker
Yay, Sharlene!
Note: A new set of weekly classes start soon, with courses suitable for everyone from novices to advanced writers. Check out all six classes here.

Hi, Brian.
It's great news. I've been published on Shotgun Honey!  It's a flash fiction site that publishes crime fiction.
The story they published is called "Burnt Skin 'n What Not," by Brookelynn Berry.  Read it here.
Best,
Lisa
(aka Brookelyn Berry)
Yay, Lisa. By the by, I love your bio: “A sweet doll face by day, a twisted mind by night…”

Ali McDonald of The Rights Factory,
Olivia's new agent
Hi, Brian.
My daughter Olivia thoroughly enjoyed your How to get published  workshop, so much so that she sent her query letter to the Rights Factory kid lit agent (Ali McDonald), and now Olivia is officially signed with The Rights Factory. She is thrilled and I wanted to personally thank you since you were the first non-family member to encourage her writing.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Wendy
Congrats to Olivia, who will finish high school this year and, who knows, maybe get her first book deal!
