“Pilgrims” by Rosemary Boyd

We walked and walked and walked some more. Past the poppies. Past the ancient crosses. Past the villages. Past the fresh bocadillos hanging on door knobs. Past the laundry sunning on balconies. Past the cows and goats. Past the fountains. Past the others. Past the ghosts of those before us.

Rosemary Boyd is a retired Registered Nurse who likes to think of herself as the CEO of her home and gardens. Her love of exploring, nature and hiking led her the the Spanish pilgrimage el Camino Santiago de Compostela in 2016. Writing has always been part of her.
