Two great new books: Dead Air by Scott Overton and Beyond the Tripping Point by Sharon Crawford

Brian,
I just wanted to let you know that my first novel, the radio industry thriller Dead Air, is now available from Scrivener Press of Sudbury (http://scrivenerpress.com/). It can also be ordered through Amazon and Chapters-Indigo online (here) and through Chapters stores.

I used my broadcasting background to write the story of a morning radio host who finds himself threatened with death from an unknown enemy. You can read more at my web site http://www.scottoverton.ca/dead-air/

I've participated in a good number of your workshops over the years and learned a lot. It's a thrill to see that knowledge finally coming through on the (published) page!

All the best,
Scott Overton

Everyone’s invited to the launch of the debut mystery short story collection
Beyond the Tripping Point
Sunday, November 4
from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Rivoli (in the back room), 334 Queen St. West, Toronto
(north side of Queen, a few doors east of Spadina)
$15 gets you in the door and buys you a copy of Beyond the Tripping Point (or another book from Blue Denim Press)

Brian, I hope you can make it in particular because three stories in this collection were spawned in your workshops.
In the meantime, I will be on interviewed on TV October 30: Internet TV, the Liquid Lunch show, 12.30 noon with Hugh Reilly at www.thatchannel.com. It’s a podcast so you can catch it any time after on the Internet.

Sharon Crawford
