Dear Brian,
Hasbara Fellowships Canada is excited to announce the launch of our second annual #MyJewishIdentity New
Media Contest!
In partnership
with NCSY, Torah High, and USY, and with the support of over 50 community
partners from across the country, this contest will be open
exclusively to Canadian high school students.
To enter,
students have to explain why Israel is a vital part of their Jewish identity –
whether it's a visual art piece, op-ed, original song, short story, essay,
TikTok video, Instagram reel, YouTube video, poem, Instagram carousel, or any
form of new media. Submissions will be divided into two categories: written and
visual. A winner and runner up will be selected from each category.
The winning
submissions will be awarded with two top prizes of $1,000 and two runner-up prizes of $360! We're excited to hear about your personal connection to our
indigenous homeland!
See Andrea Glube First Place video for the 2021 #MyJewishIdentity contest, describing her deep and personal connection to Israel here.
Mikayla Daniel won Second Place in the 2021 #MyJewishIdentity contest with this incredible graphic that incorporates elements of her unique connection to Israel:

The
submission deadline is April 27, 2022.
Thanks for your
continued support and for helping us empower the next generation of
ambassadors for Israel and the Jewish People.
Am Yisrael Chai,
Daniel Koren
