If you’ve had a story (or a book!) published, if you’ve won
or placed in a writing contest, if you’ve gotten yourself an agent, or if you
have any other news, send me an email so I can share your success. As writers,
we’re in this together, and your good news gives us all a boost.
Also, be sure to let know if you're looking for a writers' group or beta
readers; a notice in Quick Brown Fox, will help you find them.

Hi, Brian.
How are you? My tiny dog story
(only 100 words allowed) is in the spring issue of Modern Dog. And
another one I wrote will be online only for a Reader's Digest section called
Our Country.
Hope all is well with you and
yours.
Kind regards,
Cheryl M. Taylor
Hi, Brian.
My unpublished novel, The Assassin's Guide to Water Colour, was
long-listed for this year's unpublished novel competition by the Crime Writers
Association of Canada. Unfortunately, it did not make the short list, which was
announced earlier this evening. Still, the long-list is something i can, at
long last, actually celebrate.
Continuing to write … continuing to breathe.
Best regards,
Bruce Madole
Congratulations,
Bruce!
Hi, Brian.
I am over the moon – just got shortlisted by Crime Writers of Canada for my first book in the unpublished manuscript category. And my short story is coming out in its 40th Anthology in June. Am floating on air!
Delee Fromm
Note: This year, the Crime Writers of Canada award for Best Unpublished Novel is sponsored by ECW Press and comes with a $500 prize. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Delee!
