Devilfish Review
Devilfish Review is a quarterly online literary magazine. Founded by Cathy Lopez and Sarah McDonald in 2011. “We publish fiction and flash fiction, happily putting science fiction and fantasy alongside “straight” fiction.

"The Devilfish Review is a place for people and stories that don’t have a place.  If you feel like you don’t fit, like what you want to write doesn’t fit or won’t be taken seriously, then this is the place for you.  Our own Journal of Misfits.  Welcome home.

"We value good writing and good stories above all else. Send in your science fiction, your fantasy, your horror, so long as they are well written. Your stories and the characters they contain should be your own. Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please let us know as soon as possible if a story is accepted elsewhere. We want the new, the undiscovered, so no previously published works, please. Currently, we are a non-paying market, all we can offer is glory.

"For the time being we are only looking for fiction and flash fiction submissions. Fiction should be 8,000 words or fewer. Flash fiction should be 800 words or fewer. As we find our footing, we will be taking poetry and nonfiction submissions as well."
