Lisa Grubka to join Fletcher & Co literary agency, Rebecca Gradinger also looking for authors

Lisa Grubka
Fletcher & Company
78 Fifth Avenue, 3rd Floor
New York, NY 10011

Here’s what Fletcher & Co. has to say about itself “We’re a full-service literary management and production company dedicated to writers of upmarket non-fiction as well as commercial and literary fiction. We analyze the potential of a writers' work, strategize in each area of exploitation (publishing, film/tv, translation, licensing, derivative products), and execute according to that plan."

Lisa Grubka will join Fletcher & Company as an agent on August 19. She has been an agent at Foundry Literary + Media for the past four years. Lisa  works with both fiction and nonfiction authors. She specializes in literary fiction, young adult novels, women’s fiction, pop culture, food, narrative, sports and humor. Prior to joining Foundry, Lisa worked at William Morris Endeavor talent agency and Macmillan’s Farrar, Straus and Giroux imprint.

Rebecca Gradinger
Rebecca Gradinger is another relatively new agent at Fletcher & Company, having joined the agency  in 2009. Previously she was an agent with Janklow & Nesbit Associates, a foreign literary scout at Mary Anne Thompson Associates, and a lawyer, practicing media and intellectual property law, at Frankfurt Garbus Klein & Selz. Rebecca is originally from Montreal.

Rebecca's particular areas of interest are: health and medicine, memoir that takes you into unfamiliar worlds, women’s issues of all kinds, cultural studies, and fiction that is simply impossible to stop reading (and if it makes you weep, all the better!)
