Whether you’re a beginner or advanced writer, if you’re looking for places to send your work, you should put contests on your list. The Canadian Writers’ Contest Calendar is a book that gives a full listing of contests in Canada arranged by deadline date.   1. Hi Brian, are the contests included all have entry fees? Or are there any included that don't have fees attached? Would love to know before I order. I can't afford entry fees but love to write!

  2. very few don't have fees. they need the fees for prize money. Almost all good contests have a fee and often it goes with a subscription to a magazine.
