At East York's Cultural Hotspot, members of East End Writers' Group and East End Arts will present a showcase of music, and
readings of poetry, fiction, nonfiction and memoir. Gail M. Murray will speak
about writing to submission calls and share her piece "Summer at the
Sandbanks" published in More of Our Canada. Gail first
discovered this national magazine from Brian's newsletter, Quick Brown Fox.
She is excited that her memoir piece Macaroni Sunday has also
been accepted for a spring publication.

The Cultural
Hotspot event will take place at S.
Walter Stewart Library, 170 Memorial Park Ave., Toronto (map here) on Wednesday, June
28, from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
All are welcome. Come out and hear this
group of writers that meet monthly to critique and encourage each other in
