Congratulations to Glen, Brandy, Geri, and Adrienne for doing so well in writing contests and to Emily for getting published!

Hi, Brian.
One of my stories, “My Librarian, My Love,” which was critiqued by our Intensive class last fall was, just last week, chosen as a winner for this September 9th Eden Mills Writers Fest and I will get to read that story aloud in their lovely outdoor venue by the Eramosa River.

The Eden Mills Writers Festival takes place this coming weekend, Sept 7 – 9 (see here). Read more about the annual Eden Mills short story contest here, and for information on Intensive Creative Writing classes starting soon, see here.

Yay, Geri!
Oh my god!! My story Remember Me has been long listed for Canscaip!!!
Brandy Ford
Congratulations, Brandy!

I’m excited to share this email I  received with you.
Shocked and thrilled I am...
Thanks for all your support to get me here.
Geri Lalach
Congratulations to Geri! She’s also on the long list for this year’s CAINSCAIP’s 2018 Writing for Children Competition for her middle grade novel, Call of the Dragon

If Geri or Brandy make it into the final round, then she and the eight or nine other finalists all get submitted to three publishers.
More about this great annual contest here.

Hi, Brian.
Great news! I'm getting another article published! Living Education has bought a piece from me and it will be included in their fall issue on creative problem-solving! I owe this one to you, since without "Quick Brown Fox," I never would have known this magazine existed. Thanks a million!
