Hi, Brian.
I hope you are well. I’m writing to let you know that
I have a piece of microfiction to be published in aescifi.ca’s anthology, Stargazers. The anthology has 20 science fiction micro stories (under 200 words)
centred on the theme of “stars”. The stories are the winners of aescifi’s
annual micro-fiction contest. It’s now available here.
Thanks so much,
Diane

Hi, Brian.
I wanted to let you know
that my fiction piece "The Rock Wall" has just been bought by Dreamers Creative Writing and will be published soon. This is the first time
I've been paid for my fiction and not my non-fiction! Thank you for all your
support for my fiction-writing. The hard work is beginning to pay off, and
hopefully soon I can publish a collection of stories!
Regards,
Emily Z.

Hi, Brian.
Just learned that for the
second year in a row, I'm the YA winner of the annual Muskoka Novel Marathon
with 'The Sound of a Rainbow'. We had 72 hours to write a novel in this year's
virtual event and I was ready to collapse when it was over. Many thanks to the
organizing team!
I shared the opening pages
at your Kid Lit workshop in Mississauga. Cheers!
You can read the media
release here.
Sharon Frayne
Note: Sharon also won the
Most Prolific Award, having written 40,000 words over the weekend.
The next Muskoka Novel
Marathon is scheduled for July 16 – 19, 2021. Here’s hoping this one will be in-person,
but maybe have an online option, too. Details here.

the upcoming Writing Kid Lit Saturday workshop, see here and for information on upcoming Kid Lit weekly classes see here.
Writer to Writer
Fellow writers,
I live in the Windsor area and I am looking for virtual writing buddies or critique partners. I am a serious writer and I would like to finish several drafts that I have written in the genres of Women’s Fiction and Commercial Fiction.
I'm looking to work with other writers,
who are serious about writing, for mutual critique and support, and eventually,
a beta reader. If a mutually beneficial relationship develops, perhaps our
virtual partnership can turn into a face-to-face writing group when social
circumstances allow.
Please contact me at info@carolyneregan.com
Kind Regards,
***
