Berkley {a Penguin Random House imprint} seeks unagented manuscripts

Berkley {part of Penguin Random House U.S.} has an open submission program in which they accept submissions only from unagented authors. Berkley is looking for full-length adult novels in the following genres: romance, women’s fiction, mystery, suspense and thrillers, horror, science fiction, and fantasy.

They accept manuscripts from all writers but, like everybody, including from those sharing underrepresented stories in regards to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability.

Deadline: January 9, 2022. But after that a new window for open submissions will be announced.

You’ll be asked to include a short synopsis, the first ten pages of your manuscript, and a one-sentence pitch.
