There
are four new years on the Jewish calendar. Today is Tu BiShvat, the New Year
for trees, and the traditional day for planting trees in Israel. {Still a bit

For a piece written
in honour of Rosh Hashanah (the big Jewish New Year) that explains all about
Judaism in 1,300 words, see here.
