Love Letters ~ book deals, travel pieces & short stories, plus writing buddy and collaborator wanted

Way, to go, Liz!
Hi, Brian.
I have another book coming out this November with Dundurn Press, Canadian Women in the Sky: 100 years of flight. You can see it on Dundurn’s website here.  I seem to do all right with adult non-fiction~ but I’m still trying to crack the children’s picture book market. So I’ll see you May 2 in Oakville {at the Writing for Children & Young Adults workshop.).
The best.
Liz Muir
Note: We’ll have Anne Shone, senior editor at Scholastic Books as our guest speaker at the May 2 Writing for Children & Young Adults workshop. Don’t miss it! Details here.

Yay, Dee!
Hello, Brian!
Exciting news: I finally had my publisher, Bottom Drawer Publications, meeting to go over launch details of A KEEPER’S TRUTH. Yay! They’ve been busy launching a new imprint, Driven, so I had to be patient, but sounds like things are moving forward now. I’m looking at a late August release date (another yay!) with the ARC and marketing plan ready early June. Hope to have cover art to show you all by spring!
I’ll be publishing under Dee Willson instead of Denise Willson, which is great since I’ve always been known as Dee, and my author website, currently under construction with TaylorMade Design, will be live soon. As an added bonus to all of this, I’ve been extended invites to guest blog and interview on several amazing sites such as (my ultimate fav) Writer Unboxed, DIY MFA, Writer In The Storm, Jamie Tremain, and a few more.
Stay tuned for more!  And, hey, thanks for being such an awesome friend.
Denise (Dee) Willson
Author of A Keeper’s Truth and GOT

Yay, Janice!
Hi, Brian.
Thanks to your help on cleaning up my story about running the Marathon du Medoc, I have finally had the story published on a travel website ~ One World 365!
I am now even more encouraged to write more articles and try to get them submitted.
You can read my story here.
Sincerely,
Janice Chung

Dear Brian,
Yay, Lyanne!
Just wanted to let you know that I have finally pushed myself into submitting something for publication.
CommuterLit has published "The Coffee Guy," a short story I originally wrote for your Wednesday afternoon Burlington class. You can read it here
Hope you like it!
Lyanne Matcham
Note: The spring session of the Wednesday afternoon class has already started, but it will start again I the summer and the fall, and there is still room in Writing Personal Stories and in Exploring Creative Writing. See details of all five courses offered regularly, here.
For information on submitting to CommuterLit, see here.

Hi,
I’m Looking for a fellow writer in the Ottawa area for early reader stories, to listen to each other's stories and give constructive feedback.  Knowledge of requirements of stories for children to read, roughly Grades 2-5 would be an asset.
thanks,
Cathy
