The Brampton Writers' Guild welcomes new members

Have you just started writing and feel you are floundering, in need of some helpful advice, information and encouragement? Or are you an experienced writer looking to add polish to a work that is almost ready for competition or publication? Or maybe you are somewhere in between.

The Brampton Writers' Guild welcomes you to their monthly meetings where we discuss works in progress submitted by members and offer suggestions for improvement, as well as provide solutions for overcoming that common aliment, blank page crisis syndrome. Our members come from all walks of terrestrial life and write in all known genres (and perhaps some hitherto undiscovered).

We are affiliated with the Brampton Public Library. We meet monthly on the Second Thursday of the month from September through June, in the boardroom on the second floor of the Brampton Public Library, Four Corners Branch, 65 Queen Street East, Brampton. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m. Parking is available at the library. The south side parking lot is accessible from John Street, which is one-way eastbound. The second parking lot,on the east side, is accessed from Mary and John Streets.

New members are especially welcome. There are no residency requirements. You don't even have to have a Brampton Library card. Please join us. Bring your enthusiasm and your unique perspective, and grow your writing.
