Dear Brian,
My name is Cason and I represent Vallum, a contemporary poetry journal published two times per year in Montreal. Our magazine and contributors have won some of literature’s highest honours, including the Pulitzer Prize, Pushcart Prizes, the Griffin Poetry Prize, the Governor General’s Award, National Magazine Awards, and a lot more.
Vallum is accepting original and previously unpublished poetry chapbook manuscript submissions for the Vallum Chapbook Award 2018!
Entry fee: $25
1.       The $25 entry fee covers 1 chapbook submission of 12-20 pages.  Do not label your chapbook with your name or address; instead include a cover letter with all pertinent information.
2.       Chapbooks may be on any theme or subject, but must be original and not previously published (individual poems appearing in the manuscript that have been published elsewhere are fine).
3.       The winning chapbook will receive publication as part of the Vallum Chapbook Series and a $300 prize, plus promotion via social media and website. Selections from the chapbook will also be published in our print and digital magazine.
 Send us your best work!
Deadline April 30 2018. Full submission guidelines here.
Thank you again for your support. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
