John Kenneth Galbraith Literary Award writing contest ~ $2,000 prize ~ Deadline Aug 15

$10 entry fee must accompany each entry (money order or cheque made payable to "Friends of Dutton Dunwich")

All authors, family and friends are invited to the Gala Award Presentation Ceremony where selected passages will be read. The evening will be a night of celebrating the writings of John Kenneth Galbraith. Following an evening of entertainment and refreshment, the winner will be announced and the presentation of a large cash prize of $2,000 and a cast pewter medallion - The John Kenneth Galbraith Literary Award - will take place. On the reverse side of the medallion will be inscribed the winner's name and the year. This event will be held 7 p.m. October 13, 2018, the closest Saturday to Galbraith's birth date of October the 15, 1908, in the West Elgin Performing Arts Theatre 199 Currie Road, Dutton.
