Brian,
The short story I drafted at a workshop you held 18 months ago in Orangeville was just published in Room Magazine. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hello, Brian.
Great news! I won a mentorship place offered by Diaspora Dialogues with my piece "School of Good Manners." It will also be published in TOK and I'll give a reading at the Diaspora Dialogues festival.
Thank you for your continuous support. Your words in our first classes – "She must be encouraged" – gave me hope that I can write, even though I was using my awkward ESL.
Thank you!
Yours truly,
Cecilia Popescu
