Two paying lit markets, one poetry contest, and a new lit journal in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Barrelhouse Magazine wants submissions:
“YO ARTISTS! Thanks to our awesome new art director, we're now accepting comics submissions!
“YO WRITERS! You know that thing that you wrote that you love, and you think is perfect Barrelhouse material? Now is probably the time to send it to us. We are currently open for comicsfictionpoetry, the Stupid Idea Junk Drawer, book reviews, and Ask Someone Awesome.
“We pay $50 to each contributor to our print issues, as well as two contributor copies. So far, online contributors are paid primarily in karma. All contributors are also promised free beer, if we ever run into you in the flesh. If you don’t believe us about the free beer, ask around a little bit. We are frequently tipsy and imprudently generous.
"Check our submissions page for more information. Whatcha got?"
