Congratulations to to Liz, Michelle, Laura, and Mona for getting stories published

Hey, Brian.
I have a couple of new stories up on CommuterLit and sent a query to Anne Shone at Scholastic. I'm really trying to get my work out!

Note: Anne Shone, senior editor at Scholastic Books, will be my guest speakers at the Writing for Children & for Young Adults workshop on Saturday, May 27, in St. Catharines (see here).

Hi Brian!
Because of your suggestions, and encouragement, my story "Shattered" is on CommuterLit!
And my story “A Day in My Life" was on 50-Word Stories – that one is actually an adaption of what I wrote in your workshop on February 11 in Caledon.
Thanks again, see you in May at the Kid Lit workshop!

Hi Brian!
I'm attaching the link to the article I wrote for SickNotWeak.com! It’s titled “Release the Guilt.” Check it out here.
See you next week in in the Personal Stories class!

Hello Brian,
My essay, “What’s wrong with growing old? A disillusioned soul is more frightening than an aging body” has been published in the Globe & Mail. I am very pleased, and extremely grateful for your help and encouragement.
Thanks again.
Mona
Mona’s essay is a rebuttal to Ian Brown’s Sixty: A Diary of My Sixty-First Year. Read it in the Globe & Mail here or on Quick Brown Fox here.

Wanted: Ride share to the Algonquin in June Writing Retreat
Hi, I want to go to the retreat, but don’t drive. If anyone’s going from somewhere in the London area, I’d love to go with you. I’ll split the gas money, of course, and provide good company on the way up and back.
You haven’t heard about the retreat? Check out the details here.
If you can help, please contact me at: pat.mysterywriter@gmail.com
I’d really appreciate it.
Yours,

Patricia (Pat) Brown
