Re-Homed
i)
the moon,
out of place,
dangles
deep
in the black well
of water
ii)
the tree
grows
through the kitchen floor boards
in the abandoned house,
reclaiming space
iii)
the sun leaves the sky,
and rests in the still pond,
for a sleepy afternoon
iv)
clouds move
briskly,
pulled by the strength
of the flying heron
v)
the daffodil
roams,
merrily,
in between stones
on the drive-way
Waiting
i.
carving time
from the day—
into blocks,
into spheres,
into clocks, into books,
into statues, into boxes
ii.
slicing pieces
from this moment
iii.
creating
a space of eternity
in a humble day
