Rebecca Podos of Rees Literary Agency seeks Young Adult and Middle Grade fiction

Rebecca Podos
Rees Literary Agency
14 Beacon St., Suite 710
Boston, MA  02108

Helen Rees founded the Rees Agency in 1983, as one of the first literary agencies in Boston. It remains a smaller agency with just three agents, all taking on new authors.

Rebecca Podos is the newest member of the team, and like all new agents, she needs authors. She is a graduate of the MFA Writing, Literature and Publishing program at Emerson College. Her debut YA novel is forthcoming from Balzer & Bray (a HarperCollins Children’s imprint).

She is thrilled to represent books by talented clients like Rin Chupeco, Ryan Bradford, Jen Estes, Mackenzi Lee, Jen Anckorn, Sarah Nicolas, Kenneth Logan, and Ashley Blake.

Rebecca is interested in Young Adult and Middle Grade fiction of all kinds, including contemporary, emotionally driven stories, mystery, romance, urban and historical fantasy, horror, and sci-fi. She likes books with compelling characters whose journeys feel eminently human, whether they're high school seniors, were-dragons or space travelers.
