Heh, Brian,
I am excited to announce that my story "Daredevils Attempt Falls" was published this spring in Issue 15 of The Temz Review out of London, Ontario. You will probably remember we workshopped this story in 2019 and your comments and the group's support were, as always, very relevant and useful to my edits. I'm grateful for this magazine's support of emerging writers. And grateful for you and your teaching and support.
I also had a
creative nonfiction piece recently published in the fifth anniversary issue
of blank spaces. Border
Crossings. It's available online digital and by order here.
Thanks,
MJ Malleck (Jill)

Hi, Brian.
My story came in 7th
place out of the top 15 stories in my category from the 1st round of the NYC
Midnight Flash Fiction contest. I’m thrilled.

Brian,
The results are in on
the 2nd round of the contest. My fairytale, “The Hat of Ages,” I missed coming
in the top 5 of my group BY ONE POINT! Bummer. So, I do not advance to the next
round. But I am pretty proud of my placement anyway.
On to the next!

Hi Brian:
Just wanted to let you know that my cartoons, Feminine Riles on Instagram, will be published by Dixi Books in the Summer
of 2022!
I am so excited and wanted to share the good news with
you.
Thanks for all the support and the wonderful opportunities
you have provided – so much appreciated.
Cheers and all the best,
Carol Edwards
Hello, Brian!
Thank you so much for your
newsletters. I am happy to let you know that two of my picture books made the
Longlist in the CANSCAIP Writing for Children Competition this year ... which
means I'm grinning wider than a chimpanzee swinging through a banana grove,
right now! Guess I'll keep writing!
Cheers,
Laurie Crookell
