Congratulations to John Jeneroux! John's manuscript, Better off Dead, is one of the three finalists for an Unhanged Arthur, which the Crime Writers of Canada awards to the best unpublished crime novel in Canada. The other two finalists are Kevin Thorton for "Uncoiled;" and Jayne Barnard for "When the Bow Breaks."
Here's hoping that John's novel takes the award and that McArthur & Company - the award's sponsor - decides to publish Better off Dead!
The Crime Writers have also released the finalists for the Arthur Ellis Awards for published books, including Best Crime Novel and Best First Crime Novel, Best YA Crime Novel, etc. Read a full report in the National Post here.
