Three Poems by Maryann Breukelman

I let the snowdrops
guide me
through the night,
so capably
dissolving darkness

daffodils smile
in sun and rain
and shout
so loudly,

so gleefully,
so boldly

they capture
all my attention

how necessary
they are

Momentum After The Rain Storm

a snail glides
over a blade of grass
all things arrive
in good time—

in goodness
in timeliness
